
This was a personal project of mine. I have always been fond of pixelated graphics from the older eras of gaming where 8-bit and 16-bit were the norms. So here I decided on doing this underwater scene where a diver in search for the treasure, is confronted by a monstrous beast. This was done using Adobe Photoshop and using their timeline bar where I created movement frame-by-frame.

This is the still of the project. The moving parts were added individually as layers.

Here is the first draft of the piece. It felt a bit too busy and to me, did not capture the feel I wanted to represent because of the color choice.
